Genesis pilots branch manager training program
 
Boston, August 29, 2008 - Genesis piloted a training program this week designed to develop credit analysis skills in branch managers of a large Latin American bank with a retail network of over 1200 branches.

The 4-day live seminar focuses on the small business banking segment and was conceived to fill a perceived gap in credit knowledge and skills, as well as to support a continuously growing loan portfolio. In a segment where credit is essentially programmatic and highly dependent on targeted marketing campaigns, it is still of utmost importance that executives understand the elements behind scoring models and credit approval policies and parameters.

The program also seeks to further the participants’ understanding of the key characteristics of the small business segment, where audited statements and accurate, reliable information can’t necessarily be counted on.

“The seminar will be rolled out between the second half of 2008 and first half of 2009, and underlines the bank’s commitment to the development of key talent as a competitive advantage”, says Alex Moreira, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Genesis International.

Genesis has been working with this key client for over three years already and has leveraged its own experience in retail banking to custom design the seminar.
