Genesis develops program with focus on Bank-Wide Risk Management covering credit, operational, and market risk.

Boston, September 19, 2005 Genesis develops for a large Latin American client a program with focus on Bank-Wide Risk Management covering credit, operational, and market risk. This program, which can be given as two separate courses between 2- and 3- days each – or as one 4- to 5-day course – starts with an overview of the most important types of risks faced by a bank. It covers best practices under each risk typology and identifies the several stakeholders who evaluate the bank – from creditors to shareholders, banking supervisors, and central banking authorities.

The program has as one of its objectives the fostering of a common vision and an appreciation of the key risk factors in banking and how to mitigate them. It is a highly interactive program that makes extensive use of case studies, simulations, and role-plays. Genesis expects to deliver over 20 offerings of this program in 2005.
