Genesis awarded contract to train over 400 officers in large privately owned bank in Brazil in small and medium-sized business credit skills

Boston, March 7, 2005 - Capitalizing on its extensive experience in risk management in the small and medium-sized business credit segments, Genesis announces its award of a contract to train over 400 officers – from account and line managers to credit analysts. The client is a large and well-regarded Brazilian bank.

The course will be based on one of Genesis' core 5-day risk programs but tailored to the needs of the client. It will have among its objectives the identification of key factors in building a sound loan portfolio, the further development of credit analysis skills, and the creation and sharing of methodologies for common analytical perspectives among credit analysts and account managers.

With the deployment of the training program, the bank expects to improve the quality and the cycle time of its credit analysis, to contribute to talent development and employee retention, and to become an even more competitive player in the small and medium-sized credit segment.
